Like so many others, my pool water was a mess. I knew I had to do something but draining and refilling it was out of the question. Then I was directed to Fritz and Reverse Technologies. Our pool water was in bad shape. The total dissolved solids were at 4200, Calcium was 850 and Cyanuric acid was stuck above 150 for years. A gallon of chlorine worked for about 3 days, acid maybe a week and algae was constantly a problem. The owener came out to the house checked all the levels and fully explained the service. He was professional, a pleasure to work with and got the job done. The actual treatment took less than a day and we ended up with pool water that was better than out of the tap. It was far easier and significantly better than draining the pool and refilling it with 20,000 gallons of water. I would highly recommend this service.

It has been over a month that my pool was filtered by Reverse Technologies, USA. The water is chemically balanced and the cyanuric acid is within the normal range as is all the chemicals/miherals. I was and still am very pleased with the service. In our our current state of drought, I recommend this filtering service to preserve/save thousands of gallons of water.

Reverse Technologies really gets it: — competitive and fair price — simple and effective technology – my pool guy just confirmed that it worked perfectly — great customer service. The last one is the most important, because a number of providers can do this job for the same price. Reverse Technologies was very thoughtful about where hoses would run, whether gates could remain opened for 24 hrs and how it would effect our dog and children, etc. In short, they are total pro’s. I wouldn’t risk going with anyone else in the future.

I was recently serviced by Reverse Technologies and was very happy with the result. At first, I was a little concern about the noise running over night. Turns out, not an issue at all! I had no idea that pool water could go bad. That is what chemicals are for, right? Wrong! My water had become so unstable that my pool man was throwing up his arms in frustration. He could not put enough chemicals to make it right. He recommended that I either refill the pool or have the water “polished” by Reverse Technologies. I called  several weeks ago to inquire about RO service for my pool. I was so busy that I didn’t get a chance to follow back up with him and make an appointment. Fortunately, he gave me a call a few weeks later to let me know that he was going to be at another customer’s house nearby and asked if I was still interested in his service. I was, so I made an appointment. He showed up on time, got his trailer setup in no time, and monitored the process for a little while before leaving. I wasn’t home the next day when he packed up, but everything was cleaned up, he left me the final testing information, and locked up our backyard for us. We are in the worst drought in California history, My pool water turned green. Every pool service said to me empty the pool water and refill. HEY!, WE ARE IN A DROUGHT! Who do you call???…. We’ve all heard that a pool has to be drained and refilled every five years to avoid mineral buildup, but with the ongoing California drought that’s not an option. Besides high phosphates, I was particularly worried about the high levels of calcium in my pool water because I knew it was damaging my equipment. I didn’t know what to do! I’d heard about a new reverse osmosis service for pools on the local news and decided to see if someone could help. This new technology was my last hope because I didn’t want to incur the expense and fines of draining and refilling my pool. Thankfully, I found Reverse Technologies. I spoke with the owner to get an idea of what to expect and schedule a date for the treatment. He also met with me the day before the treatment to let me know where the trailer that houses the reverse osmosis system would be parked. He answered all my questions and addressed my concerns. The next morning, he arrived on time and set everything up. The homeowner doesn’t have to do anything. I have a 15,000 gallon saltwater pool, so the treatment only took about seven and a half hours. He also re-balanced the pool water afterward. The water is visibly clearer and feels silky soft, much different than before the treatment. In addition, my skin’s no longer dry after swimming. It was autumn of 2014 and I was informed that the water in our swimming pool was so chemically out of balance that it could not properly maintain the weekly chemicals that were added. Our pool water was toxic.

The diagnosis was harsh: if the pool was not refilled with fresh water damage could be done to both the walls of the pool and the mechanical elements. Ouch!

However, California Has Serious Water issues

We were in yet another year of drought and water restrictions were being proposed. I had trouble justifying emptying and refilling our pool when water was such a scarce—and increasingly expensive—commodity. So I held off until the spring hoping for winter rains even as I held my breath hoping kicking the can down the road would not mean that I would have the expense of repairs on top of emptying and refilling our pool.

As we know, those substantial winter rains never came.

Winter did bring hope, though. It was in late winter when the owner mentioned that he was going to be offering a new service: reverse osmosis processing of the existing water in the pool, which would make our pool water better than water out of the hose.

I had nothing to lose and was hopeful that reverse osmosis might be “good enough.” The process was fairly quick and painless, with little inconvenience to us and none to our neighbors. But the process was more effective than I imagined or hoped. If I would have drained the pool and refilled it with tap water, I would be refilling it with hard water. When this process was complete, the water was almost too soft. The water was clear, clean and was no longer a threat to the well-being of our swimming pool.

The bottom line is Reverse Technologies reversed our pools fortunes and did it without justifying consuming water to refill a pool.

I keep aquariums as a hobby and know a good deal about Reverse Osmosis systems, which is why, living in Southern California, I Googled a service that could do that to our pool — which suffered from 20 year old water with a hardness level of over 3200 PPM! We were using over $100 a month in chemicals, but because the Cyaneuric acid was so high they were not able to do their job, which to me was pouring money down the drain. Needless to say, I was more interested in a tour of their truck than the effect on the pool, but the system is brilliant; huge reverse osmosis membranes, a self-contained power-plant that is QUIETER than they’ll admit, and it shuts off when your water reaches the desired parameters, or in MY case even better than the targeted level – kind of like Lasik surgery for your pool. The team came in, out and available during the entire process, which saved us SO MUCH MONEY, and is continuing to save us money every day. And let me tell you what it’s like to have water that’s chemically PURER THAN CITY WATER. it’s like a mountain lake. USE THIS SERVICE – your Karma will thank you!! There is NOTHING unprofessional and not outstanding about this company. They were outstanding. The solids were originally at 3200 PPM’s– That’s largely because the pool water was 20 years old. The Cyanuric acid was so high that I was putting 100 dollars a month of chemicals into the pool and they were unable to work. The pool cleaner wasn’t able to do its job due to the hardness and salts. SO 20 hours later, the guys packed it up and drove it away. I had had to replace 10-20% of the water due to the amount of waste for this situation . I’ve applied to the DMV for a variance. The motor is really quiet for the unit and like I said, the water was BELOW parameters when they were done. (Solids at 130ppm.) For our 20×40 pool the price was $875.00 The water is like a lake and even the pool cleaner is working better. Great guys – great job – and well worth the money.

So glad to have the owner over to our house and setup his trailer. Took most of the day, shut down at about 9pm and had awesome water the next day. He even added the salt we bought to get us back to generating chlorine. Got our calcium level back in check and couldn’t be happier. Plus he’s the only one in the LA area so get him to your pool soon and save the environment instead of dumping all that water down the drain.

I’m a relatively new owner of a relatively old pool. The high calcium hardness, algae, phosphates and dissolved solids made it very difficult to maintain. The puri-pool process worked perfectly and we now have a fresh pool that’s much healthier and easier to maintain. Thanks!

Our pool was toxic. We swam at peril to our skin. We knew the water had to be replaced, but in the current drought, we couldn’t just dump 22,000 gallons. Then we discovered Reverse Technologies. In 16 hours of quiet pumping, our water was drawn out of the pool, filtered, and re-circulated in pristine condition. Foul water was now drinkable–silky, soft, odor free, and crystal clear.
